With over 600 guests attending each year, this is the largest conference on autonomic disorders that brings together patients, caregivers, researchers, physicians, industry representatives, non-profit leaders and government policy makers.
We welcome individuals of all ages, but the conference programming is best suited for individuals ages 12 & up. There is a Teen Program for adolescents aged 12-18. There are sessions for adult patients, caregivers, and medical professionals as well.

The conference will be held at the Loews Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA. The hotel is located in the heart of Centre City in downtown Philadelphia. The property is fully air-conditioned and has an indoor pool, fitness center and business center. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available upon request. All rooms include complimentary wireless internet access.
A block of rooms is being held for conference participants at a discounted rate. Nightly rates (not including applicable taxes) are $161 per night for single/double occupancy.
Preferred rates are available on a first come, first serve basis until July 3, 2019. Once the room block is full, room are subject to availability at the current market rate. Guests are responsible for booking their own hotel reservations. Please wait to receive confirmation of your conference registration prior to booking your hotel room. Your confirmation email will contain a link to reserve a room at the discounted rate. Guests will be required to show conference credentials during the conference for admission into sessions, meal function and hospitality locations.
Dysautonomia International provides a welcome reception on Friday evening, a buffet lunch on Saturday, a buffet dinner and dessert on Saturday, a box lunch on Sunday, as well as salty snacks and hydrating fluids throughout the weekend. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available. Ingredient lists are available for each meal by asking the waitstaff.
The hotel has a beautiful bar and restaurant, Bank & Bourbon. There are many affordable food options within short walking distance of the hotel, including the historic Reading Terminal Market, which has over 24 restaurants and dozens of food vendors to choose from.
The hotel is about 25 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and 10 minutes from Amtrak's 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. Taxi, Uber and Lyft services are available.
The hotel is in the center of the city, so it's hard to find street parking. Valet parking is available at the hotel for $49 per day. Self parking is not available at the hotel, but there are several self-park locations within a few blocks of the hotel that are somewhat more affordable. We suggest downloading the SpotHero app, which can help you find more affordable parking garages based on date and location.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Dress is summer casual for the conference, with many of our guests wearing turquoise for dysautonomia awareness. You may want to bring a cardigan or sweater because the meeting rooms can get a little chilly sometimes. We suggest summer cocktail party attire for the Saturday night Awards Dinner. Don't forget a bathing suit if you'd like to make use of the hotel pool.
Pets are strictly prohibited at the Conference. ADA service animals that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability are welcome.
We're planning a busy weekend, but if you'd like to explore the area, Philadelphia has some amazing sites to see and things to do. The discounted hotel room rate is available a few days before and after the conference if you may want to extend your stay to check out more of Philadelphia.
